@urusan TBH, around here it's usually immediately after New Years with the silent awkwardness of pretending it never happened and then expect some form of "Christmas in July" in select stores. So January through June of merciful peace, then August and maybe some September before snow globes go on shelves an aisle over from plastic skulls, but it's absolutely 100% present for all of Q4.

@urusan i would never have thought about the answers other than the first until you mentioned them and they make sensethe lingering memory (often physically manifested as tilden mentions) is too strong even in february though
