@Elfman They destroyed Ukrainian airbases already in the early days of the war and Ukraine has next to no fighters and they're also grappling with the entire western world sending billions in aid to Ukraine, reminiscent of certain events prior to other wars/world wars. Allegedly some planes are using airbases in other countries (Poland, Moldova, Romania), which if they do strike at, counts as an escalation in spite of what those countries are doing already.
