The #Fediverse offers variety, not 1:1 associated with politics, which can serve a much larger market, at least potentially, whereas #truthsocial is a niche market that's going to be 95% political, because it's associated with #donaldtrump That could be a limitation.

@pj Indeed. As much as I admire the God Emperor, I'm not at all motivated to join TS. Forums of like-minded individuals can be fun, but basic echo chambers are boring as fuck, even if it's "your side".

@Aurelius_17_6_313 I agree about #echochamber but it might be a good source of business for me, not sure yet. The other thing about TS, and I assume most people on there are great (myself included LOL) but the #qtard thing seems like a liability, and Trump is not really discouraging it.Even if "Q" is totally legit, which I doubt, I think he would be better off without it--the followers could be tricked, misled, and the "secret handshake" aspect of that doesn't add to Trump's credibility.

@pj I've long said about q that if I were an "evil genius" leftist, I would create that and use it to channel right wing energy down a useless dopamine reward pathway of likes and shares, and away from constructive action in the real world.
