@MelGibsonafter4Beers Yeah. And unfortunately their refusal to create an online presence created what seems (at least to me) to be a gap between us and them. Not blaming them at all, they were rightly skeptical of the internet and the growing surveillance state. They could never have known that we too could use it to promote our message.

@MrBones There was also a "low point" in the movement that began just as the internet started to take off. Groups like the National Alliance and Aryan Nations suffered from power grabs , infighting and gay ops after their respective leaders ( Richard Butler and William Pierce) died . People seem to forget how large these factions really were and the role they played in paving the way for what we are doing today.

@MelGibsonafter4Beers @MrBones I think the two most striking shibboleths between WN 1.0 and WN 2.0 (if we may use such terms) is 1) the movement away from a very rigid "is this good for White people" as the dominant point of orbit for literally everything, and 2) the transition away from White natalism as an explicit moral good ("I might not be the Fuhrer but at least I have 12 White kids").Both imo are symptoms of an increasing individualism ("White People" means nothing to an individual, and you literally cannot breed on your own).

@MelGibsonafter4Beers Yeah. There’s that too. I read Pierce’s bio, Fame of a Dead Man’s Deeds last year and it made me want to revisit all of the 1.0 stuff. There’s a guy on Bitchute and Odysee called, “KuKluxKlan Archives” that has tons and tons of archival stuff I’d never seen before.I wish Alan Balogh could offer more insight into the earlier days. Maybe he has and I missed it.
