@Vanille @ehhh a lotta tea is produced in that area so it makes sense personally i prefer the southern japanese prefectures because of their high quality volcanic soil and plenty of sunbut Honshu Island (shizuoka prefecture) has a cooler climate so it makes it easier for mass production Still it looks like decent quality tea, good to buy from Nippon because unlike Europe and Weimerica they actually hire japanese workers for agriculture (or so i hope)

@Vanille @ehhh I buy Loose leaf and specialty fruit teas at spice shops in the summer i like to make cool fruit teas that you buy per weight (that's Pear, Apple and Ginger fruit tea)(second one is Kiwi Apple)there is also a mix of loose leaf and fruit tea (green tea with cherries, berries and hibiscus) that you can make a killer ice-tea and if you're aiming for Japanese teas i always go for powerized japanese green tea called "Matcha" the highest Grade of Matcha is called "ceremonial grade" and those are sold in tiny tins for a sizeable amount though plenty of american companies import from Japan (like Rishi tea)you can find those on amazon or iherb

@Vanille @ehhh i don't even need to use a tool, just a spoon and pippin hot water you can sweet it a bit with stevia or monkfruit, but normally there is a sweetish umami flavor to good quality matchain my experience the darker the matcha the more intense the flavor

@ehhh @Vanille if you have a food-dryer you could dry those strawberries and then use them for tea drying the fruit makes the flavor more condensed

@fightknightHERO @Vanille Ohhh I've dried lemon slices before for tea. Very good! I dunno about the strawberries tho they're itty bitty! Not like the size of the ones you see in supermarkets. They're like the size of blueberries and they grow around on my pavement and in the grass :ablobcatattention:

@Vanille first thing first you should buy a borosilicate jug for tea (plenty of those in aliexpress) look for 1.5L or 2L make sure they have a build in filter (usually stainless steel) something like this aliexpress.com/item/1005004265170078.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.47ef5bb6Qm19ch&algo_pvid=0fdb5ed2-c478-42c8-8e11-d8066ffb457a&algo_exp_id=0fdb5ed2-c478-42c8-8e11-d8066ffb457a-31&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000028568408629%22%7D&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21USD%21%2129.28%21%21%216.93%21%21%402132a21416535347095957291eaf0d%2112000028568408629%21seaor this aliexpress.com/item/1005003408309304.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.47ef5bb6Qm19ch&algo_pvid=0fdb5ed2-c478-42c8-8e11-d8066ffb457a&algo_exp_id=0fdb5ed2-c478-42c8-8e11-d8066ffb457a-15&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000025654526220%22%7D&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21USD%21%2122.13%21%21%21%21%21%402132a21416535347095957291eaf0d%2112000025654526220%21seaand then buy good quality lemon juice then LIQUID stevia ('now foods' is okay but 'Nature's way' is the best) and then further consult me for tea

@Vanille @ehhh they're pretty cheap, you can buy them in most consumer-electronic stores hell if i'm not mistaken the Ninja Air-fryer (the advanced model) has some built in food-drying mechanism 20 something hours and your fruit is dried and ready to be used in tea or stored
