Y'all got any tips for making #xterm usable and stuff, like a modern lightweight terminal emulator? I realize I could use Sakura or lxterminal instead, but there is something about the whole rawness of it that calls me.Or maybe I should be looking into rxvt or the other forks instead? #question

@kzimmermann it's been forever since I used xterm, iirc the .Xresources files is where magic happens.

@kzimmermann of course I think the last time I really hacked on an xterm config I was using TWM as my window manager so take that for what it's worth. 😛

@thrrgilag oh and nothing wrong with twm. 😄 I still use it now and then, especially inside Xephyr sessions. 35 years and still being actively maintained...@kzimmermann

@fedops quite impressive indeed, given the average lifespan of lesser-known software. Though I must confess that the only time I "use" twm is when I'm testing out if Xorg's installation went alright with startx :D@thrrgilag
