@kyrsjo Monitor switches off / disconnects, so I have no idea. Fan and power button light stay on.

@matt it was my attempt at some humor :)If you were running Linux I would recommend to update your BIOS / system firmware; ACPI tables can be buggy especially on early firmware releases. However at least in the past Windows (if that's what you're running) and systems tended to avoid each other's bugs so that it worked even if things were not up to spec. But then again some OS update could have broken that uneasy truce, so I guess the advice still applies :)
