I paid for it, I first used f-droid version, and having been satisfied with the result, I thought it was fair to pay for something I like and to support a developer

@apps I'd recommend saying in the app description that it's available for free from F-Droid - that way people who can't afford whatever small price know where to look, but it'll still generate some income to support the app.

@apps it's a good idea but before you go in that direction you should make sure it's already the best / preferred mobile client or you'll lose your users.

@apps It is okay if it helps you, but you should add to the description, that the price you pay for the app is a "thank you" for the developer. Otherwise people expect an app under heavy development with frequent updates or a flawless app. And an app, that still has bugs here and there, with the last release over 6 monat ago, just isn't that. In other words, just be more precise about what people actually pay for.
