@Nacek at the shop where my blacksmith meetings are held there are many prints of blacksmiths in their shops being watched by children. They don't appear to have any artist name written on them. You wouldn't happen to know of any folk art of this specific type, would you?

@alcade@freespeechextremist.com https://archive.org/details/villageblacksmit00long/page/n21/mode/2upThere are a number of prints I have seen that are based on illustrations for The Village Blacksmith by Longfellow. A linked book is above. There are also postcard sets with excerpts of the poem and accompanying illustrations. You might also enjoy scattered seeds magazine. The engraving attached is by William Small, but most of the illustrations will be uncredited. Linked belowhttps://www.cw-archive.org/en/magazines/SS/8#28

@Nacek I've never seen these Longfellow illustrations before, thank you. Next time I'm at the blacksmith meeting I'll take some pics of the art I mentioned and see if anything looks familiar to you, if you would be so kind.
