@tek the only people who speed down my road are the ones heading to the meth house on Deliverance road, way back there. every so often the cops bust the house and we get a reprieve. a lot of hoopty Hondas and loud touring bikes.

@picofarad That sounds like an amazing story to tell while sitting around with friends. 😀We live on a 25 MPH street, and it's mainly this one jackass in a new, lifted (of course) pickup, who likes to floor it and race down our road.

@tek Well, having once lived in the town where there is a 25 mile speed limit that the cops actively enforcing on most the island, you could call it a public service. If someone is stupid enough to speed there they deserve the ticket they will eventually get.

@clint Totally agree. I *like* the low limit. There are pedestrians everywhere, and the streets are narrow in places.

@tek @picofarad They work if implemeted right. We have them all over the place back in .nl. And roundabouts. I love a well implemented (bike + pedestrian priority) roundabout
