@gxwalsh My panel guy has 2 choices. He has a UV cured ink-jet print which looks good and is inexpensive, or he has good old-fashioned paint-filled engraving.I made V1 of this preamp and had him engrave it since it was a vacuum tube preamp, and I wanted it old school.Here's an angled pic he took when he just got done making the panels.Here's his inkjet printing on a different panel.

@Ricardus 1) It's awesome you have a "panel guy" and 2) I like the ink-jet but ❤️ the engraved+paint. I have some tone generators and love their panel aesthetics (plus their giant knobs).

@gxwalsh I had been using Front Panel Express out of Seattle, but then I discovered a guy named Frank out of Germany on one of my DIY forums who does the same quality work for less. Shipping takes a bit longer, but not that much longer.

@gxwalsh This is my panel guy. Frank Rollen.He's been SUPER amazing to work with. I once asked him if he were able to do something similar to a picture I sent him, and he basically designed it, and sent me pics of the final design in his next email to me.Super cool.https://www.frontpanels.de/

@gxwalsh I love the aesthetic of giant bakelite knobs myself. I work in an analog studio with lots of vintage gear. Fun stuff.
