@mangeurdenuage @matana @lelouchebag I'm saying coding isn't about "playful cleverness" and that its about building stuff and that requires looking at examples and using prebuilt parts. If you want to say students are cheating themselves by not learning as much as they could fair enough but for better or worse lots of people with jobs still get through work copy pasting. IDK, I wouldn't copy paste an answer to a coding project without looking at it but if you're trying to say sharing techniques/code is cheating it kind of flies in the face of reality.

@bwk @matana @lelouchebag You consider that the professor judged them badly.I consider that the professor judged them correctly.Over a greentext, we are both dumb.Fun aside this sort of context is heavily dependant on the what was done and we can't judge it without speculating our ass off.Yes you are correct, work is mimicking someone else's work and that's ok, but with the little that we have in the said greentext we can't know if these people were just copy pasting shit without effort or getting inspired by the code or re adapting it for their project.
