       Things like ufw are nice in the sense that you can set up a firewall very easily, but if you're concerned about firewalls then I think you should really learn iptables instead so you gain actual knowledge about Linux networking, have more control, and actually know what tools like ufw are doing (adding a bunch of iptables rules).
