@BrodieOnLinux I just keep buying new thinkpads. I'm on the i9 P1 gen3. I like them for their build quality and keyboards. Never used the trackpoint myself. But even so, my laptops will always be a 2nd pc. Will always use a desktop for daily use. Not on a current gen desktop either. Supply chain issues took the fun out of pc building. Still using a 2950x threadripper with a Vega 64. Like you said, does everything I need it to do.

@BrodieOnLinux I didn't even look into the coreboot stuff, it's already hard enough to get a usable thinkpad (sans nvidia) with a usable keyboard… 🤷
