       @Crocmagnon What the heck is that? I'm just getting started on #HomeAssistant, and I'm pretty amateur about it. I've never seen ANYTHING like that in my Home Assistant configuration.

       @mike @fuomag9 NodeRED exactly 😊 It's much more flexible than HA's automations, though they've come a long way since they started.From my POV, nodered is much more maintainable but YMMV.The basic premise is that everything works around *messages*. They pass around data and trigger actions.It's not tied to HA, you could install NodeRED on its own and automate stuff with it without plugging anything into HA.Don't hesitate to ask if you want to discuss it further, I'd be glad to help 😊
