       The idea that "small web" means personal websites and nothing else is starting to bother me. Leave room for #communities. Forums with two dozen members. Wikis with half a dozen contributors.

       @felix I came from but left that world.I call it the "room model", IRC is similar. It's often frustrating and fragile.What suits me better is a follow model like Fedi where I can follow whomever I want. Just like real live, six degrees of separation, it's all one big web, that from my own li'l vertex is starting to look pretty cozy.
