@cjd only tangentially related but I was thinking this morning about how "tolerance" for one group of people is like "free speech" for the other group of people. It's a term that doesn't mean anything to me until I know what your limiting principle is.

@Moon @cjdTolerance to me is one of the ways of making sure everyone has their share of freedom, regardless of what they actually do.And of course most politicians/activists will want to restrict the freedom of what they think of as opponents/ennemies, often with whatever means available, including transforming what a word means (ie. saying that tolerance is support).
