My gf is at a soccer game(yeess, I know! :amaze: ) with her mom and her husband and she just texted me she saw a crypto ad in the stadium haha! Is so sadEven the KNVB(De Koninklijke Nederlandse Voetbalbond) official soccer thing or something here in the #Netherlands is sponsored by gambling shit and #crypto ofc For me another reason to uh.. 'not like' the sport :blobcatgiggle:

9 out of 10 betting / gambling / crypto ad on Dutch television has a "famous" (ex) soccer player in it :blobderp: There was even this grey sketchy gambling site / company on Aruba(if im right) ran by mobsters and "famous" soccer players!

@stux in Spain, gambling site ads (and gambling ads in general) are forbidden midnight, and football teams cannot be sponsored by that kind of business.

@stux Yeah, don't gamble kids, I'm not sure if it's even legal to gamble them, it probably isn't, and even if it was, it's very, very bad and cruel. So I agree.

@stux @MagicLike Lotteries by the government are a little better but still very weird, since they do ads about using the money for poor people and people in need, when those are usually the ones buying the tickets in the first place.
