Fediblock is non existent anymore.Also posts from there show up on poa.st and similar, so what happened is someone would see said post on poa.st and mock it and while the replies wouldn't show up on the original instance, the replies would on others.Essentially it creates an online version of girlslaughing.jpg.

@kayden @lucifer @thatonecalculator On the other hand, Poa.st also has one more thing: it's far less known than something like Gab is. Gab was at one time so well known that a random edgy post (by a sort-of-eceleb) saying that tech companies won't get the message to stop censorship unless something drastic like Oklahoma City happens got them to lose hosting, and they had a giant target on their back. They still do as the 2021 hacking showed.But Poa.st? Put it this way. Who outside the fedi knows of it? It's high profile in the fedi and to a few people in the online right, but the "counter intelligence" types have no clue it exists. And it's a fedi instance, the less stupid people will end up jumping instances inevitably like many I've seen who got driven out by the echo-chamber nature of said site. It's not like Gab is, you'll run into people from other instances who'll think you're crazy and you'll realize that if you don't fit their worldview 100% there are places you can go that won't actually harass you nonstop. Even if the media pulls an 8chan style Blitzreg on it, the fedi is far more resistant to that kind of attack because unlike 8chan, it's not a centralized site and the Plan B/bunker is built into it by design. Sure you lose your own posts if it goes down but your old posts are a liability now and if you want to preserve data, do it on your own personal website/a wiki and NOT a social media site.
