i wonder why my instance is running slow at times. upping the workers didnt seem to improve it. Maybe its too few db conns?cant be IO tho because fab seems to run fine :akko_thonk:

@puniko misskey is mongo, right? dunno how that behaves on connections. postgres doesn't magically get better if you have more connections as it does more sync.

@puniko oh, in which case, you might find turning up connections makes things worse. postgres uses a thread per connection!

@puniko however, it also places a natural concurrency limit on db-using background jobs, so if you've upped the workers, could be that it's the bottleneck.
