@Dave you should change your profile picture to a woman, it really helps with threads because a lot of men on fedi will reply to any woman they think they can make look stupid (I am easy to make look stupid because I simply don't care to argue my side)

@oxblood @Dave i agree. personally i like to use it more as a place to blog and vent. interactions are always nice, but they shouldn’t be the end goal.that being said, try posting about things you’re passionate about. makes it easier to have a conversation when it’s something you like to talk about. do polls. ask questions. and don’t be afraid to be the replyer for other posts. conversations can pop up anywhere. :)
