@dave This is why student loans should be voided, not repayed by anyone. It's a scam. Tell students their whole primary educative years that you must go to college to get a decent job. Hand out free loans to cover the costs of tuition regardless of major, rise in costs, ability to pay, or economic situation. Raise tuition so high that student loans are the only option for most students to attend college. Now, virtually every recent graduate has student loan debt. No such thing as working a summer job to pay for college. Debt to be repaid over 30 years. Cannot be discharged by bankruptcy. Default is horrific and amounts to a lifetime of debt slavery. Fuck banksters. Fuck the jews. We don't owe them shit. They got their money in the last bail-out.

@FreeinTX @dave How about not promoting garbage college degrees that don't have any actual job paths available, you read the agreement, you signed the dotted line, you are responsible for the decision of taking out the loans. The only thing I'd say you can argue to be forgiven would the the interest rates and only pay back what you originally took out. And if the record shows you have already paid the original amount back then you are no longer required to continue paying. So instead of demanding not to pay back anything, demand to remove the interest that has built up and not allow interest rates to continue.

People are supposed to be able to default on debt, dude. It’s the lender’s job to assess how likely they are to be able to pay back the loan because they’re the ones trying to make money off of it. The argument here is “the bill lobbyists bribed congress to pass in the mid-2000s that gave student loans a special non-dischargeable status should be repealed”

@dave @FreeinTX You still have to take responsibility on the loans, it takes two to tango.I'm saying that you want to win the favor of people your path would be to argue for only paying back the original amount, not including interest. Other wise no one is going to take the argument seriously, its no different than a car loan. You made the choice, a bad choice and a good portion is the fault of parents and schools promoting college when college is not for everyone. A good portion of people would be better off going to a trade school and not even be anywhere close to the amount of debt built up compared to college.

@Jack_Bitchmin @dave Why? The too big to fail banks were accounting experts and they signed on the dotted line knowing full well what was at stake. Yet, when their shit took a dump, did we see people saying just pay back part of it? No. We saw the USG forgive TRILLIONS in debt and back trillions more in quantitative easing (money printing). Why do rich people get their shit voided when they fuck up, but middle class white kids get fucked when they can't play back debt that was created from a scam? And, you apparently missed my whole point. The guaranteed loans is why tuition skyrocketed. Why should whitey be on the hook for principal money when the massive majority of that principal was the direct result of the monetary scam created by guaranteeing those loans? My guess is that you're near boomer age and recall times when you could work a job to pay for school and think these kids now are just being lazy. You probably also remember a time when you could save for 20% down on a home, and a time when PMI would be called an insurance scam. Now, as you prosper from skyrocketing property values, the upcoming generation has no chance of raising $100,000+ for a down payment to avoid the PMI scam. The world you grew up in is gone. The boomers destroyed it. "Fair" would be a total jubilee. Hell, "fair" would be gassing every boomer in this country and taking their shit. But, let's just settle for voiding, not repaying, voiding student loan debt.

@Jack_Bitchmin @dave @FreeinTX You literally don't. It's called bankruptcy. There is a way to expunge all debt because you are over leveraged, can't pay, and all lenders take it on the chin. Your credit rating is hit sure, but you can build it back with hard work. Student loans cannot be expunged through bankruptcy, they follow you to the grave.Clear up that loop hole and the entire system you're talking about dries up. Banks won't lend for useless degrees because they want a return. Allow students to remove student loans through bankruptcy and things will have to correct to stay afloat. gender queer abortion studies degrees earn the wage of a Starbucks barista? okay, not much available for those degrees. An engineer pays off the loans? Great that pool of money is much greater.Fix the inputs and outputs, and the system has to adapt or die.I went to college and no longer have loans to pay back. I see how the system is broken, and how it can be fixed. This is a really important step towards that.

@Jens_Rasmussen @Jack_Bitchmin @dave If you loan me $1000 and I don't pay it back, you're out $1000 and have to make do being down that grand. If this was the case for student loans, I'd agree with you. However, 2 things. 1. If you don't pay those student loans back, if no one pays those loans back, no one is out a single penny. The banks didn't loan out that money like you would. They printed that money up, backed it by nothing, took zero risk, and gave it to you. They stand to lose nothing other than the money they stand to make on the loan. 2. and most importantly, ITS A SCAM! The rising cost of tuition is the result of the government backing these loans, which are printed up and backed by nothing physical. Monopoly money that the government promises to enforce with the barrel of a gun. This is why tuition rates are so high. Not simply inflation or the increases in the cost of doing business. This scam jacked tuition so high, few could afford college without these loans. That's the scam. And because this is a scam, the debt is odious. It isn't owed by anyone. It should be voided.

@mona @DuckKingLoow @dave @Jack_Bitchmin This is where it's going. However, normie patents and their children have been grilled with the simple lesson, "go to college, send your kids to college, or you're a fucking loser". This was indoctrinated into the parents and kids by school counselors, teachers, and "the greatest generation" parents their whole lives.

@FreeinTX @dave One no bank or business is too big to fall, the should of never bailed them out. That should of been a situation where the people who took the loans out have their debt wiped away due to the failure of the banks knowing they are promoting bad house loans on purpose. The US gov during that time pushed the banks to promote loans to people who should not have taken the loans to begin with under the guise of "it will help the blacks" This is the fault of identity politics and the banks that went along with it. This would be the one instants I would agree the debt should be wiped due to it being pushed by our own government. And yes guaranteed loans was a large contributor to the increase in tuition. And no I am not a fucking boomer. What I'm saying is if you want to get through the thick boomer scull, start with the argument the interest rates are plowing people into the dirt well passed the original amount owed.

@Jack_Bitchmin @dave They shouldn't have bailed out the banks, but they did. They shouldn't give welfare based on the number of kids you have, but they do. They shouldn't have backed student loans but they have. The shouldn't give $33B to Ukraine to fight a lost cause, but they are. This is the whole point. They shouldn't do this shit, but they do. The debt is odious. It isn't owed. They should have never pulled the scam, but it is a scam and scams are not to be deemed legit and therfore the debt from the scam should not be enforceable.

@Jens_Rasmussen @Jack_Bitchmin @dave Yes. Printing money is a scam, but not the scam that I'm referring to. 80% of the modern student loan debt is the result of the government backing loans that were printed up out of thin air. It's not the printing that is the issue, although that is a separate issue that needs addressed. It's the backing that allowed the tuition to rise artificially. The backing is the scam. The government targeted middle class white people with a program designed to put them into 30 year debt and if they defaulted on that debt, it would be debt slavery for life. That's the scam. That's why the debt should not be owed.

@FreeinTX @Jens_Rasmussen @dave Agreed that the backing has caused the problem. Its almost the same situation as the government backing in the loans that lead to the housing loan problem. This would then turn into an argument to reduce government and get its social programs out of the public sphere. But because the banks haven't tanked this go around on the student loans like they did with the housing, to demand no one pays back anything on currency that is technically owed isn't possible, but if the banks imploded like they did during the housing crises that would give the opportunity to claim foul play more easily and say "hey I was taken advantage of by way of the state."Overall I believe in order to make head way on the issue would be to at least demand to only pay back the original amount to gain the support needed to win back against the foul play. For as long as there is still faith/value in the US Dollar, the complete wipe of debt is out of the question unless brought to its knees a give an opportunity to start fresh like the housing crash. Which was sadly not taken and instead bailed out and continued the problem.

@DuckKingLoow @dave @FreeinTX @Jack_Bitchmin Hmm. That's a solid argument, actually. "Special exemption" that guarantees banks anything they lend out to students outside the normal risk of bankruptcy basically turns the place into a money funnel to school admin from the next generation's inheritance
