i was sick with the #gardening hubris this winter and grew on my balconey a whole lot of the edible cactus known as #nopales. all was well until it all broke down and fell 3 stories to its inevitable death - or so i thought. i put some cactus leaves in a bucket i had near the cars and you can see for yourself that lots of green fresh leaves are now growing. a little fun fact: this cactus is immune to the disease that is now infecting many of the prickly pears in the #middleeast. blessings 🙌🌱
