@matt Just what I needed, yet another excuse to not go to the gym!(Probably very viable for a lot of people, though for some of us it would be rather inconsiderate wrt. coworkers... But I have optimised my shower routine to the point where the showers I do take are considerably faster than they were!)

@matt Here's a little fun fact: 200g beef require 3080 liters of water to produce. The average american shower uses 65 liters of water. So one shower a week for a year equals one 200g beef in terms of water use. @matt @kommune had to look this up. I thought that all nordic countries were filled with fresh water. @matt as an Aussie who grew up with severe water shortages... Who lives in Oslo and also got that text message today. Two quick showers a week is enough. Also please Norwegians... Stop running the tap to make it colder.

@mattDepends on lots of things I guess. Imho, the first step should be to get a lowflow shower head. It's not noticeable but uses way less water than regular ones, up to 2/3 less. For me it was roughly -40%. And saving energy is an equally good argument for saving water in the shower, since most people shower hot or warm at least. Plus they save you lots of money.
