@novichan Matrix/Element chat works when I use it for my family. We can make video/audio call anytime with it and we've been experimenting the Wi-Fi phone/tablet to avoid paying for mobile data, basically the way it works is...We have an antenna and a wifi-extender access point that allows us to get about 2 miles radius, so it works well in suburban and urban environment where there are free wifi hotspots. We basically saved about $400/mo on mobile data thanks to that.

@novichan Basically we stalled it in our cars and so anywhere we go, we would have our car out at parking lot or driveway, so we aren't going too far from it.
