@ombligoelemento @andypiper The difference is simple! :blobcathearts: "Local" means from users from the instance you are on :blobcathearts: and the Global timeline shows you posts from people all around the Fediverse (other instances)

@stux @andypiper Thanks! Main confusion was the new tab in iOS app is called ‘Community’ instead of ‘Local’ (which tbh makes more sense) but it’s exactly the same thing 👌🏻

@stux @andypiper It’s better in the long term I think. When I joined a couple days ago, I actually thought ‘Local’ meant ‘Nearby’ and was a bit worried 😂
