Imagine trashing the geopolitical impartiality we as a nation have been carefully cultivating for 80 years and inviting amerisharts to establish a tactical nuke target in our backyard just because you absolutely must do the real world equivalent of tweeting a hashtag.I have been disillusioned with mainstream politics for a long time but this still manages to shake me to my core. The ultimate blackpill is hard to swallow but I'm constantly growing more sympathetic to the idea that it all must burn before anything of worth can be rebuilt.

@sampo @thor @vala Someone on fedi once said that when everyone has larger and larger teams, things tend to not go so well for the ones who stand alone. On top of that it hardly pays off to maintain dialogue with a country that gives no shits about diplomacy.I share your concern about burgers being part of the ordeal, though.

@sampo @lain How much russian energy does those countries consume? It's better to just not care about this shit tbh. Its already far outside our hands so we have to just prepare best we can ourselves. The establishment want you swept up in their narratives and your mind captured by them, just not playing removes a lot of their power.

@Telvannichad @lain I am about as far removed from the system as is realistically possible nowadays, socially, physically and ideologically. This is just kind of a major thing that can fuck us over even if I look the other way. I'm personally pretty well prepared for whatever may come but I genuinely care about the people of my nation, as difficult as they sometimes make it.

@sampo @lain I was pretty pissed and down when my country locked down, weating those mask just made me really uncomfortable. Being forced inside just made me lazy amd my study habits suffered a lot. I haven't gotten vaccinated but there was such a pressure during that time. Glad I didn't in hindsight since its like nobody cares anymore, still resentful for government pulling that shit tho :blobcatoh: Saying No, really throws people off sometimes.
