I'd really like to switch to an open source solution over google drive but it would be a pain to switch everything over. not to mention make it a pain to work with my editors

@Rasp yes! me too. i feel bad because I got my workplace onto Google Drive 10 years ago when Google was less evil. also it was better than our ridiculous passing-a-thumb-drive-around system.

@Rasp yes also they don't pay me enough to work for free and create their online system. my school too cheap even to make their own website. we use ...*cringe* a Facebook page.Google was smart to go after Education with Google Drive. Schools are so cheap and free is their magic word.

@Rasp It won't be good for real time collaboration but for file sync between personal devices syncthing is very good
