       It's very ironic how Mastodon's marketing won't acknowledge the existence of other servers types on the fediverse unless its convenient for them to advertise the interoperability with other software. And then they'll choose something from a different category rather than a competitor like Misskey

       @IceWolf@meow.social I have no doubts he's doing it intentionally. He knows how the fediverse works and people also told him that his marketing heavily implies Mastodon is the only solution for microblogging on fedi. Like you said, it gives him control.
