@burgertron In short! :blobcatgiggle: All actions on Mastodon (follow, post, favo, etc) needs to be processed! Software called "Sidekiq" handles this for us and shows it with these numbers 😄

@burgertron That totally depends on how you wanna run it ♥️ A single-user instance can be pretty easy and low costs but a public one can be a challenge :blobcatgiggle: Things like guidelines, terms etc are so very important if you want to keep a nice thing going :blobcatgiggle:
