If you don't want to have the timeline loading toots automatically you can enable "slow mode" to get a button on top your timelines! For users from mstdn.social you can find that setting here: https://mstdn.social/settings/preferences/appearance

Another nice addition we have on mstdn.social is the "App settings" panel. Within this panel you can easily edit interface settings without leaving the toots :blobcatgiggle: Tip:If you are on mstdn.social and do not see this setting button on top please enable the "Glitch-soc" flavour: https://mstdn.social/settings/flavours/glitch
