I'm not even entirely up-to-date on what's happening with Twitter, but I can't understand why anyone would want to buy it, nor can I see a way for it to actually become worse. I think the best thing it can do is most likely die to make room for something else to hopefully not be a cesspit.

@architect Twitter just kept getting worse and worse to the point I deleted my account. I would post non-political stuff and get attack. I don't think there is anything Elon can do to save it at this point. Way to many trolls. Facebook suspend my account during the election for posting about Biden Jr laptop. Main stream social media just sucks these days.

@Horizon_Innovations True, but twitter hasn't been able to profit from that information yet, so financially it just seems like a terrible idea. Obviously Musk can handle the cost, but it really reads like ~50B USD that just got flushed down one of them internet tubes.

@nergal @architect As far as I'm aware, other investors have joined in along with raising funds against assets he has - possibly Tesla and Space X
