@coolhandjames paying the outrageous cost of Netflix these days for dogshit original series, a terrible selection of non-netflix original content. And having to watch ads during it. Anyone who still has an account after this is a complete NPC. And you just know that they are going to auto play while you're browsing the library the way movie trailers play now. Perfect way to alienate a user base.

@coolhandjames My understanding is that they are going to add a cheaper "ad-supported" tier, to compliment the current ad-free subscriptions. But you just know they're going to push the boundaries with that.We use Netflix mainly because we want our kids to be ad-free for as long as possible, and not get funneled into RYAN'S TOY REVIEWS every time they watch something. It's getting harder to do that though...

@feistypenguin just get amazon prime, that's got loads of kids stuff and it's free if you pay for prime delivery well, it is in the UK anyway.

@coolhandjames I have heard that the ads are only played on the lowest cost subscription, do they can be avoided. But I doubt that fixes the issue that they raised prices while people were already at the breaking point.Have not used Netflix or most streaming services in years. I do not miss it.

@coolhandjames Gee, I wonder how the people who praised it for the thing it's no longer doing will react.

@coolhandjames once all the media companies decided they wanna do their own distributing, it became merely a matter of time until Netflix goes bankrupt. sure, they can make a house of cards or some other hit, but that's not worth a subscription. only reason people got netflix was because it had everything. films with commercials, lol, good luck finding new jobs
