       Not sure why but if you change the password to anything other than the default the WiFi connection becomes unstable. Just did a factory reset and everything is working smoothly.Using an external router is almost a requirement.

       @art Can you at least turn off the built-in WLAN antenna in the TMO device?I wanted to use an external router with my AT&T fiber but that would have meant I would have been double-NAT’ing and I didn’t want to do that. Does TMO require you to double-NAT?

       @gme Doesn't look like a way to disable the wifi. I can hide the SSID and a few other thing but it's really limited.

       @art How low can you go on the transmission power? Reason I ask is if you use your own WLAN router in addition to the TMO device you don’t want your WLAN radio fighting for a good signal from the TMO WLAN radio.

       @art I feel it's intentional because Big Telecom (mostly Comcast and Charter) won't allow competition in most areas. Its not a ideal solution because of lack of availability although you are lucky in this case.

       @artMake sure to drop mtu to 1420 is using external router. Trust me 🤓
