@mimimayes Well, I'm keeping an eye just in case. Malcolm has a terrible habit of just jumping up & snagging things off of the kitchen table. There was a 1/2 banana still in the whole peel. He ate the whole thing except the stem which we told him to "leave it" & he did.

@pamby1 Don't think they're toxic. Think you mentioned you had pet insurance (Lemonade). Usually they provide free access to tele-vet/pet poison control if you want to out your mind at ease.

@pamby1 @mimimayes .y puppy shattered a wooden miniature frame .. with glass. I tried to reassemble it to see if shards were missing and it was hopeless. Oh did I cry on the way to the vet. Took 4 X-rays and $500 to say he was okay. I'm glad that happened to him when he was a baby and the chewing phase passed quickly because there's no way in hell my Wolfie would let a doctor inside his mouth to check him now.

@pamby1 When my dog was a puppy he tore apart his bed. There was a soft foam core that he ate. I was so worried. He was puking what looked to be a green chemical substance. I thought he was going to die. He was thankfully ok.

@Liberty_Freedom Oh my gosh! Yeah, ours has eaten his share of beds, washcloths etc. That's lessening now that he's getting older & we're better about getting him enough exercise! He ate something in the yard last summer, vomited, aspirated vomit, got pneumonia & spent 3 days @the vet hospital. $2500 later, we now have pet ins.😕

@pamby1 Oh no! That is scary. My dog is 3 years old and doesn't really chew/eat much now; sometimes pinecones or sticks or other small things in the yard. We do have to stop him from eating rabbit turds though. 😜

@pamby1 @MMA @mimimayes out puppy ate a sock and then crapped it out whole and then for an encore he ate a pair if my daughters underwear. They went in black and came out purple. Oddly she didn't want them back. He also ate a house plant and had squitters for 2 days. Given the propensity of puppies to eat anything, they must be pretty resilient or no dogs would survive.

@MMA @pamby1 @mimimayes I give my doggy meds 2 times a day. I just open his mouth, drop them in the back, and he swallows. The vet was amazed. He's a good doggy.

@Timtoolman @pamby1 @mimimayes Puppy USED to be a good doggie. When he was a baby, I bathed him, brushed teeth, brushed fur, cleaned ears, clipped nails, and trimmed between his toes. Now he's a good Wolfie and isn't having any of that. I can only push but so far. I can still bathe him, give meds, and he will jump up to take a piece of bacon out of my mouth. He will eat from a spoon and a fork for me. I can occasionally brush teeth. But the rest? Fuggettaboutit.Sigh.
