@tout_court If at the age of 25 he started putting just $100 a month away for retirement he would have more than enough money to not have to worry about this.

@MummabearIn the US it primarily goes for public schools (about 80% at my home) but also pays for flood control and other public works in the area.But it varies A LOT by state. Texas has no income tax and has pretty high property taxes instead to pay for more than where I'm at in Colorado.@tout_court

@Joe @tout_court what's your point? Does this justify the high taxation?It's also not resonable to invest money in order to afford paying taxes in the future.

@tout_court Eliminate the child tax deduction and use it towards education. Create "school free zones " where seniors etc can live with no taxes.

@Joe @carldd @tout_court Not allow the high taxes in the first place...He's Amish. He doesn't use modern technology, they aren't investing. They live simple lives. Yet the government still needs to rape them out of their money.
