aha. found it.I changed a map to a vector and did not account for the different behavior of operator[](), so it's accessing an invalid pointer, causing a segfault, and so the behavior, naturally, cannot be reproduced when given a valid pointer.since it's evaluating trig functions correctly for now according to the debugger, I can wait until it starts throwing zeros again to fix that one.
