@becassine This is actually a big divide in Japan. Northern Japanese turn on fans/AC when it's above 25C. Old people have those very wide paper fans on a stick. @VD15

@ishadowx @VD15 where I lived in Japan as a young child it's fairly moderate ranging from 5.4°C to 28.5°C (daily average) when I got a bit older I moved to Osaka (why I speak mostly with an Osaka dialect) which is just slightly warmer. Now I live in an area where it's very cold in winter and summer often reaches 35~40°c with high humidity. I haven't needed to use that until I came to the USA.
