@sarvo I've seen Annihilation on lists (I actually want to read the book series), that probably counts. The Mist is a good movie that's also listed. The Lighthouse isn't really described as cosmic horror, but you could count it.I'm gonna watch The Empty Man now.

@crunklord420@kiwifarms.cc of all those the mist is the most cosmic horror in my opinion, and yeah the lighthouse I dont know whatever mess it is but I still consider it a good movie.

@sarvo @crunklord420 Didn't Color out of Space come out like last year or something. It's cosmic horror too, but it's a bit dodgy for what i've heard. Still, Mouth of Madness is probably the best when it comes to lovecraftian themes.

@crunklord420 @sarvo I also watched a nic cage movie last year called "Prisioners of Ghostland" it was horrible tbh since it was some weirdo edo-western film full of retardation.Still, i said it was a bit dodgy since i didn't watched it. Some dude recommended it to me and i wasn't convinced.

@crunklord420 Void is truly meh. They go for visuals and don't bring much substance. And even those are kind of OK at best.Watch The Borderlands (2013). @Morghur @crunklord420 @sarvo It's called "Colour out of Space", but in reality it's remake of "The Thing".It's abouit monsters jumping into the camera with a loud noise and the main protagonist shooting it with a shotgun.If they marketed it as "we made a shitty homage to The Thing" I probably would have even enjoyed it, it's not that awful on its own.But it has nothing to do with anything lovecraftian in spirit and is basically a false advertising.
