@stux There are some people here who still have it because it's not time to replace the phone lines with fiber yet but the copper lines are crap so they can't get DSL, cable lines aren't run to their house, they're too far from a cell tower for 4G (a wonder they even get cell service in some places), and they can't get line of sight to a satellite. They're still getting dialup at the almighty speed of 28.8k because the lines are too decrepit to go any faster
