I either need to get a new raspberry pi or just buy another VPS because every time I touch something or try to fix something I have to wait 10 hours before s*** comes back online And this is starting to get old. Really damn fast

@whitepaperkat Good luck. The 4b is a year out for production. You may want to look at hardkernel or radxa.

@whitepaperkat Yeah, but they do use more electricty. These guys are usually a good feel for prices for used PCs. https://www.freegeek.org/I have a few Odroid N2+s and and a Radxa Zero with 4gb ram. The N2+ is a great board. The Radxa Zero is impressive too for the size (it has 4 arm cores), but you'd need to buy peripherals to use it for your purposes, e.g. Ethernet / USB hub (unless you run over WiFi). I also have a Rock Pi X. I only use it as an emergency windows machine when I need windows. It seems pretty decent though.

@whitepaperkat One more to add to your ponderings. The Odroid HC4. It's not as powerful as the N2+, but it does have two sata ports. It's a "toaster" style board, though a lot of people get sata extenders and separately mount the drives.

@Humpleupagus yeah I probably should look at some single board computers. My mother is electric. Bill is already outrageous

@Humpleupagus we have also been having a lot of electrical problems too. There's been some rooms that just seem to not be lighting up properly. I think it might be one of the fuses
