       @fahrrrrradler Idc what the root cause is I just wanna know how people can be so dumb?! Like you can tell who's authentic and struggling with dysphoria and who's just in it for the ride. And it's fucking infuriating. Before, I never would have minded coming across stories where characters are trying to sort out their identity and whatnot. I mean, trans people exist. Now though, I do a double take. It can't be coincidence that the number of gender-identity books in fiction is so damn high today and was basically non-existent a decade ago. No matter what cesspool exists on any social media, it takes having the proper mindset for that cesspool to flourish. And that mindset, for the most part, is being a dumbass.
