       spent a solid 20 minutes debugging with a friend why drag and drop suddenly stopped working in our project. turns out gnome (my friend uses ubuntu) doesn't support drag and drop functionality from desktop. you have to open desktop in file manager, select files and then drag them into the desired app 🙃

       @bvr Actually gnome doesn't support desktop icons at all (resonable, as they are blasphemy🙂 ). They are handled by 3rd party extensions
