@entreprecariat For recurring ones currently:- DavidRevoy for 3€/month (was 1€/month for a while)- 10€/month for SourceHutHistorical recurring ones:- TheRealEloraam (RedPower): forgot the amount, was for quite few years- Marcan, something like ~1€/week while he was accepting donations for AsahiOtherwise I tend to give about 1€ per song on bandcamp, usually more and there is few webcomics artists on which I sent occasional but large donations.

@entreprecariat feels like the small scale version of "I'm a billionaire but I'm also a philanthropist so you don't need to tax me". People do it to feel nice but it's hard to get anywhere significant

myself: - 5$ per month for a newsletter- 5$ per month for an artist who does some video reports- ~60euros per year for zine on 21st century iconography- 27euros per year for lurk- occasional t shirt bought to support artistic project or shop- 20 euros per year for the Italian art workers association I'm surely missing something but this is more or less it

@entreprecariat Generally I'm more comfortable and generous with one-off payments. At this point this is mostly habit since I haven't always had the most stable income, and when I go through a dryspell I don't always remember to resume my donations.But if I'm prompted to pay-what-you-want, I usually spend at least $20 and always more than the minimum.

@entreprecariat I do not personally think it’s very sustainable, particularly if everyone’s paying each other moving the few amounts of money around, and tying us together transactionally. It’s also a poor substitute for societal (via taxes/government) financial support and I have a fear it could accelerate this process.but I’m open to hearing differences of opinion.

@entreprecariat Donations to free software, wikipedia and local social stuff, fedi, 1 patreon sub only. Recently I bought art piece to fiends and local artists (prints, fabrics, ceramics, 50 to 200€). And about 10 bandcamp albums purchase per year, growing.

@entreprecariat I join some associations (by paying membership I support them). I'm spending maybe 50 € (zines, posters, etc.) to independent editors/artists/graphic design. I'm buying vinyls, mp3 and merch to bands and musicians that I discovered during the year.

@entreprecariat I'd say I'm like around ~60€/month between Patreons, Bandcamp Fridays and small one off purchases?Goes higher when I'm buying some pricier one off thingies, but that happens probably 5 to 10 times a year
