I started using #FairEmail as email client on my smartphone. Looks pretty intuitive. And of course it's Free and Open Source software.

@ericbuijs Thanks eric. I've been meaning to put something on the android phone more than just the zoho client as I have my own postfix now too. Just never got around to it and your post made me look.fairemail is a fork of k9 mailhttps://www.slant.co/versus/2885/32658/~k-9_vs_fairemailTurns out k9 is NOT a dead app though https://k9mail.app/2022/01/18/2021-in-Reviewhttps://k9mail.app/download from fdroid, playstore, amazonapp and github. So I've just installed k9.

@ericbuijs have used #FairEmail for 2 years now just to keep tabs on my gmail account ( #tutanota is my primary now). Worth upgrading to the premium if you enjoy. Loads of features to get it how you like it.

if you've never heard of it, I use pep, it's a very capable email client that also has a special trick. All emails between users of pep are automatically encrypted no matter which provider you use:) There is also a plugin for thunderbird on desktop

@lps I noticed that FairEmail too supports encryption. But I'm going take a look at pep. Do you know if pep can communicate with every client that supports OpenPGP.
