       I've been thanking my guardian angel since I heard about the Shanghai lockdown. Had we not been on holiday back in Aotearoa when the pandemic hit, my wife and I would now be imprisoned in a small apartment in Shanghai.        @pkboiIndeed. The idea of having to live off whatever food was in our apartment for an unknown period of time is pretty scary. Eating out was as cheap in China as buying groceries, so we often didn't have that much food at home. I guess we would have stocked up more after the first outbreak started in Wuhan. But even then, you can only store so much fresh produce and frozen veges at a time.
