@Debradelai What was occurring with the RUB/USD 1-5 years ago isn't what's important. What is, is what might happen in the future given the potential weaking of the reserve status of the USD.What if the ruble continues to appreciate as Putin requires it as payment for Russia’s palladium, platinum, natural gas, oil, tin, nickel, wheat, and other commodities like fertilizer? Russia is a huge supplier of these natural resources.BTW, I'm not saying the RUB will be the next reserve currency.
