Some of them seem like a reach to fit the dad theme--I had to think for a minute to figure out what he meant in Aladdin, it was such a minor aspect of the movie.Also how is WallE based? @RaidouKuzunohaLXIX @becassine The Disney movie is that way. The book was more based, Frollo is a much more nuanced character there.I think it's funny how Disney still couldn't justify giving Quasimodo Esmeralda so they gave her to the guy who in the book is just out to pump and dump and who Frollo kills.

@becassine I don't get Tangled. It's the child-stealing witch adoptive mother who is a liar. Don't get Moana either. I wish he'd written about Frozen because it's not exactly easy to put into words all the fault points. Also don't understand Toy Story - where's the nihilism? Very good otherwise.
