They've got a camaraderie and higher purpose that speaks of the core values of any society, mutual co-operation for protection of family and community prosperity. @SpaceElf Cow milk is unhealthy, I don't know where this meme that it's super based comes from. It's full of lactose which humans struggle to digest, it doesn't have that much in the way of nutrients, milk making you big and strong is bullshit. If you want to get stronger meat and eggs are the way to go. If you want to be healthy then onions and honey are great. Milk doesn't serve any biological need for humans past infancy.

@becassine @WASPChan @rikkatakarada The chest freezers have a very, very low power requirement. But in Quebec you might need 2 or 3 times the surface area for the same effect. Regardless they're super cheap on grid as well. (I did solar just because I wanted to learn how to manage it.)

Short-ish synopsis.Maya hatches, is an extremely curious larvae. Once she's old enough to go on patrol she is so astonished by the worlds beauty that she abandons her responsibilities and obligations to explore it (bad), she meets different bugs, even encounters people. Of particular note is her encounter with a dragonfly, who starts the bug she was talking to, and Maya is shocked and disgusted, but the dragonfly actually has a discussion with her about how violence and death is a part of life and that a dragonfly must eat as well. She meets lots of different bugs, not all of them are supposed to be lessons-another bug she meets is a fly who's hobby is just to annoy this single drunken old man. Anyways, she begins to miss home, but knows she's a fugitive now so she's sad. Then she sees wasps, who the bees are at war with, and she finds out they're planning an attack on her hive, so she goes back and warns the bees of the impending attack, despite her fear of punishment for abandoning her home because her loyalty outweighs it. They manage to fend off the wasps due to the intel, and Maya becomes a hero.Starship Troopers but for babbys and with cute poetry.
