       @ARCONITE @isolategab For a bit I held out hope for flote but they cucked too. The fediverse is the only way for us to have free speech because anyone can host their own instance with their own rules.

       @heavensfeel @ARCONITE @isolategab I've been expecting it to be yet another censorious "free speech" platform the moment the so-called "Truth" Soycial got announced.My faith in alt tech has already gone to waste when Gab was caught censoring on the text-based side, and Odysee on the video-based side.Self hosting has always been the only way to have free speech, most people gave up on self hosting their own websites when the convenience of centralized soycial media started catching on.Likewise, most people gave up on self hosting a forum or BBS when REEdit, Discuck'd, and millions of othere showed up.
